Denise R. Gabel, Chief Finance and Strategy Officer for the Filene Research Institute, will be the featured speaker at the NWCUA’s first Leadership Symposium in Portland, Ore., on Feb. 10. Gabel will direct an interactive discussion designed to send credit union leaders back to the office with innovative ideas to help leverage the wave of membership growth that rolled in with the Bank Transfer Day and Move Your Money movements.
Gabel’s discussion promises to highlight best practices for retaining new members and engaging them in taking advantage of other products, and she will also present the newest research on prize-linked savings programs.
Regulators from Washington and Oregon will also share new information and answer attendees’ questions during the regulatory forum.
The symposium begins at 12:30 p.m. at the Oregon Medical Association Foundation (11740 SW 68th Parkway) and is scheduled to conclude by 5:30 p.m.
